Why I Follow Travis Dahle, Steve Sammartino and Marketing Over Coffee
Note: I’ve been a bit MIA on the blogosphere lately. Sometimes just get burned out. But that phase is gone now, so I hope to start giving you some valuable stuff on a regular basis for a while. Thanks for hanging in there.
In honor of the timeless tradition of #FollowFriday in Twitter-land, here are some people I really think you should be checking out:
Travis Dahle (@travisdahle): Over the past few months, Travis and I have connected off and on via both his blog and Twitter. Travis is a communicator extroidinnaire. I really enjoy his style over at his blog, and his tweets always prompt me to tap the brakes as I’m scrolling through my daily feed. If you like any of the stuff I’m putting out here at MarketingInProgress.com, you’re going to like Travis’ stuff even more. Check out Travis’ Twitter feed here.
Steve Sammartino (@sammartino): Steve is no stranger to link love from this blog. His Start Up Blog was one of the first blogs I picked up in my formative days on the blogosphere. He’s an Aussie who really gets you thinking when it comes to entrepeneurship. Plus, his blog design is a true testament to simplicity + valuable info = greatness. In addition, I see that he’s now got a live portion of his blog via twitcam that seems very interesting. I missed the inaugural session, but I’ll definitely be joining in the future.
Marketing Over Coffee Podcast: These guys really don’t need much of an introduction if you’re at all connected in web marketing today. John Wall and Christopher S. Penn are true mavens of today’s marketing world. This podcast is exactly what it sounds like: two experts getting together weekly over coffee and talking about what’s working today in marketing. I can’t recommend their podcast enough. Listen to Marketing Over Coffee here.
