OK, I know I’m always bragging on AdvoCare. But hey, if you’ve got the best stuff out there, it’s not bragging – it’s fact.

Here’s an article that was in last weekend’s USA Today Weekend, the EatSmart section by Jean Carper . It features a few very small nuggets of nutritional genius from one of the nation’s most qualified authorities on the topic – Dr. Harry Preuss, a professor of Physiology, Medicine & Pathology, Georgetown University Medical Center. The fifth point mentions one of AdvoCare’s products, CarbEase (actually, it’s Carb-Ease, with a hyphen, but the article doesn’t include that, so I won’t either). Here’s the nutshell description of the product. I use it quite a bit, especially before a big Italian meal that’s heavy on carbs and starches. The science behind how it works is nothing short of amazing – it basically inhibits the breakdown of carbohydrates.*

Dr. Preuss is a long-time member of the AdvoCare Scientific & Medical Advisory Board, and he just released a new book (co-authored by Bill Gottlieb), The Natural Fat-Loss Pharmacy. I was lucky enough to get a copy of the book before publication, and I think it’s great. A very easy read with very compelling content. If you’re interested at all in knowing how to really lose some inches, lose weight and be healthier (as well as the differences between losing fat and losing weight), then I highly recommend this book.

So congrats and a big thanks to Dr. Preuss on yet another impressive accomplishment. Just goes to show that Yankees fans aren’t all bad all the time . . . . (cheap shot).
